Abstract:

The Panel will discuss the weapon system, further capability enhancement needed, SSA architecture and international comment/opinion of the test.

 

About Speakers:

Rajaram Nagappa heads the of International Strategic and Security Studies Programme (ISSSP) at National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS). His interests are in missile technology and space weaponisation. 

Prof S Chandrashekar is currently is Professor International Strategic and Security Studies Programme (ISSSP) at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore. His Area of interest includes satellite, rockets as well as the applications of space technology, especially remote sensing. 

Mrunalini Deshpande is currently a Senior Research Fellow with the International Strategic and Security Studies Programme (ISSSP) at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) in Bangalore, India. Her areas of research interest include Space Security and Space Policy.

Riffath Khaji is currently a Senior Research Fellow with International Strategic and Security Studies Programme (ISSSP) at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore. Her areas of interest is Pakistan with a specific focus on Pakistan State society and Ballistic missile developments in Pakistan.
