NIAS Workshop: The Conservation of Geoheritage Sites in India: Present and Future Prospects, NIAS Conference Hall II
The pressures of urban expansion, agricultural requirements on land as well as activities such as mining pose a threat to the preservation of landscapes which includes Geoheritage.
A workshop on 'The Conservation of Geoheritage sites in India: Present Status and Future Prospects' will be held on the 11th of July 2019 at Conference Hall II, NIAS. The overarching objective of this workshop is to start a dialogue between various invited speakers regarding the status and possible conservation strategy of Geoheritage in India.
